About me
Christopher Robin Judson Worth is a PhD student at the University of Missouri St. Louis. In this role, he serves as faculty within the Office of Inclusive Postsecondary Education. His research interests center around all people being allowed to develop their story of self. The components that allow people to develop a fully actualized story of self are, in Chris’s mind, dignity of risk and self-determination. By the time Chris speaks at the December TASH conference, he will be nearing the end of his PhD journey.
In addition to his teaching and research interests, Chris brings more than twenty years of experience in grassroots community organizing as part of the lens that informs his practice. Christopher was trained at Industrial Areas Foundation, the same community organizing school that Barack Obama trained at. Christopher believes passionately in the fact that research can be a form of advocacy/community organizing.
Currently, Chris lives in St. Louis, MO. with his wonderfully dynamic and powerful wife, Juliet Claire Salih-Worth. On top of his academic work, Chris does a lot of work as a contractor and gives trainings throughout the country.
